Hukad with College Friends

It’s not about how often you see each other. It’s not about how often you communicate to one another. It’s just knowing and believing that amidst the changes you have in your life right now- you got friends who are for keeps.

Yes, I may label them as “college friends” but we are more than that. Yes, we barely see each other, maybe once in every 3 or 4 months. But when we do, nothing change, we are still the same people who laugh our ass loud and talk like we’re the only people in the place. I should say I’ve got a handful of friends who are the same as that, or much worse than that ;p but that would mean another blog post though. 😀 So for now, I would like you to meet my CARJAQ friends minus the C and the J. That would be CJ and Jake who are now in Batangas and Manila realizing their dreams and oh, plus Trixie-not really part of the group but nevertheless, our good friend)! CARJAQ was actually the initials of our first names!

That Sunday night, 18th of September (yeah, i know this post is long overdue!) when we decided to meet and dine at Hukad courtesy of Ronnie, was one of the enjoyable nights we had. Hukad was the place to be, as they satisfied our empty stomach with their great tasting and ever homey food. By the way, I happened to dined at their Cebu Branch, Golden Cowrie, (I think they are sister company) and the only difference was that Hukad has more of a classy ambience. Golden Cowrie at SM Cebu was like the Penongs type, only it was better.:P And here’s our order.

Adobong Kangkong – Hindi talaga nawawala to sa order.

Lechon Kawali- With our excitement that was outpouring the entire evening, we forgot to take a picture of Lechon Kawali. We only remember it when it was, like this! Haha 😀

Tinolang Manok- I love the sabaw, I’m not really a fan of chicken in a sabaw, I just love the sabaw! aw!

Fish Basket- Super tasty!

Playing with fountain.

After the voracious dinner, we went to a videoke bar and sang our heart out! And that is Ronnie on the mic and Angel and me..

Trixie with the remote control.

Au-Au in pink stripes!

Life is indeed so good when you have friends that are really for keeps!

  1. Good to know that you managed to maintain your friendship with them. True friends are few, that's why you have to treasure them. It seemed like you have a blast that night. I could see happy faces on all the pics. 🙂
