How Social Media Influences Tourism Industry

By | September 23, 2012

With the advent of technology, almost everything in human’s life is now documented. What have you eaten, you’re whereabouts, the latest restaurant you’ve been into, your recent travels and escapade and many more. These are all quickly shared using social media sites like Foursquare, Facebook, Twitter and a whole lot more.

It’s not necessarily a word of mouth anymore but what you can see on Social media sites that can catch your interest and may somehow influence you. Like travel’s pictures being posted by your friends in their social media sites that would make you want to visit the place they’ve been into.  Sometimes, you don’t have to use words anymore, you just let the pictures speak for itself and it will show just how wonderful the place is and how much you enjoy it.
