My New Short Bob Cut Hair

Having a short hair has never been an issue for me. In fact if my face would allow it, I would definitely go shorter than what my hair is today. I’m all for short hair but since I am not thin anymore and my face kind of look big, then sporting a short hair is somewhat a challenge for me.

Last month I attended the press conference of MBEX or the Mindanao Beauty Expo. After the press conference we had the chance to try the products of the event’s sponsors and got ourselves a make over. I had a new hair color, Golden Mahogany using Wella’s Illumina Color. I love it, especially how it was not so harsh on my scalp. I requested something that would make a statement but not too loud-and I got it! Thank you Wella team especially to Jelyn who did my hair color! 🙂

Next was the hair cut. I had a peg and showed it to Junnel of Hairs and Nails Salon. My peg was a bob cut but not too short. And this happened.

That volume that totally hide my being “pihing” hehe

Junnel cutting my hair and that is Jelyn from Wella who did my hair color. Thank you guys!

The haircut was absolutely nice and sexy (thank you Junnel) but I never planned to have my hair this short as I have a wide face. Haha But instead of crying over spilled milk, I embraced my new do and loving it actually. I love it more as days passed and realized how convenient it is to have a short and low maintenance hair. I can go out of the house without having to comb it.

It may be unplanned but I love how everything turned out! We may be afraid of change but once we’re on it, it’s actually liberating, just like trying out short hairdo.

That’s it folks, if you want to explore and would love to try a short hair cut, you can visit Hairs and Nails Salon at Tionko St., Gov. Duterte St, Davao City or like their Facebook page for more info.
