Happy Birthday Lengs!

By | December 10, 2012

Okay, this post maybe too personal but I just want to dedicate this to my friend who is celebrating her birthday today-CJ! We’ve only known each other since college but the friendship we have right now is definitely immeasurable (at least for me). *winks*

I just want to tell you that I’m so thankful to have you as my friend. You’re someone that I can rely on whenever I needed something. Like I need not worry to approach you for anything because I know that it’ll be okay with you. Even if sometimes it seems a little awkward but you have proven that I can always count on you no matter what. You’re one of the few people I know I can lean on, on quick notices. (I know, you know what I mean). Even if we don’t talk and share things that much anymore, I know you would not think that I only come to you if I need anything ‘cause you know how much you mean to me. (I hope you do Leng)! 😀

Well, anyway, since I’m writing a post for you, let me share here what I would’ve share on your wedding day. You know, I’m you’re pretty maid of honor and I thought it’s obligatory to make a speech, haha. Here goes:

What is there to say to these two people who have loved each other for a long time? They withstood the test of time and managed to overcome complexities that their relationship has encountered. If I were to give an advice about their relationship, it’d be like giving an advice Michelangelo on how to paint. Or teaching Michael Jordan how to play ball. Or telling Voltaire how to write his novels. So… what am I really trying to say?

The thing is, they are here right now because they know how to make their relationship work and that is why I’m quite confident that these two will be able to handle any hardships they might encounter.

So the best thing I could wish or say for these two right now is that may they continue to love, cherish and honor each other. Keeping and comforting one another as they go on through life together. Also, keep the passion burning. So, may I propose a toast to the newlyweds.”
