Friendship, what does it really mean? For me, it is about understanding, accepting and loving the person for all that she/he is. That would mean loving and accepting all her flaws and understanding her shortcomings. Yes, it is not easy, but that’s why we are here in this world to learn to be like that.
Friendship is like a family. You can run to them if you have problems, you can seek advice and cry on their shoulder and they would be willing to listen. (Oops this is only applicable for those people who have real friends.;P) Indeed it is very wonderful to have someone like them in your life.
Friendship though doesn’t always mean happiness and fun. There are also times when personality’s clashes, opinions stress and misunderstanding happens. However if you are really a true friend you are willing to patch things up, you are willing to make it work so the friendship will be intact again. With this you must be willing to listen; you must be willing to open your heart and ears for the other side of the story.
Friendship doesn’t work one way. It’s a two way process and definitely all efforts from both sides should be applied. Both sides should be willing to understand; both sides should be willing to give way for one another. In that way they can meet in middle and reconcile.
