Hijo Estates: A Community Resort

Travelling and discovering new places is really a must for me. Since that time came when I can fund for my own travels, I started travelling. It may be just domestic travel but at least I’m gradually stepping up my game and praying for my international trip to push through this year. šŸ™‚ Wish me luck! It’s like a therapy for me, aside from the much needed time out of work, it’s a great avenue to learn and discover new things about myself, the people around me, the culture and the world as a whole. So when an opportunity presented itself that would allow me to travel and be in a place where I have never been, I grabbed it with much gusto. That’s when I discover the Hijo Estates in the heart of Davao Gulf.

Together with my fellow Davao Bloggers we experienced, marveled and enjoyed the place with so much energy and enthusiasm. It was a day of walking, discovering and marveling ourselves both with nature and man made creations.

Hijo Estates– a 760 hectare property that aims to be a premier community with complete amenities like a world class resort, residential villas, school, international port, orchard within a forest, church and a commercial center, all in one estate for you to enjoy. However, beyond the dream of the owners for this property to become the world class destination they are still doing their best to improve the area with a minimal effects on the environment, thus still preserving the natural beauty of the nature and environment.

Forest
Like what I said in Hijo Estates you really get to see all nature could offer without having to hop in to many places. In this property one can find a forest that has abundance of wildlife creatures both animals and plants.
The Spot- “Find your spot in The Spot”
This must be one of the most picturesque place I’ve been into. The calmness and the serenity of the place was enough to blow all your worries away. (Oh diba parang poem lang, hehehe) But kidding aside, if you want to relax and just marvel how you are so blessed to have witnessed such a wonderful view, The Spot is the right place for you. You can also enjoy fishing and dining at their restaurant.

Banana Beach

Ever wondered how there is a beach resort in a banana and coconut plantation? Indeed there is with the Banana Beach Resort, a 4km stretch of black shoreline (from a volcanic ash) with an infinity pool, massage area, restaurant and non and air conditioned cottages.
Thanks astoldbyjulz for this pic! šŸ™‚
Hijo International Port Services
Together with the ICTSI or the International Container Terminal Services Incorporated, this port aims to be a world class international port that will connect Davao Gulf to the rest of the world.
Lanikai

The Tuason’s heritage home that welcomes guest for a private and peaceful getaway. If you want to enjoy the private infinity pool, the view of the Davao gulf with a personal chef at your beck and call then this is the right package for you.

Residential Villas

You are privilege enough if you are one of the only 25 families that can enjoy a Lanikai inspired home, with a banana and coconut plantation, an orchard, a luxury resort, a forest and a private beach all of which are just an hour or so from your own personal abode. Your rest house away from the city, but the best rest house there is as these amenities are all for you to enjoy and use.

Staycation-“a vacation spent in one’s home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions”

The new term being used today when staying in your home country or in the local tourist attractions in your area. I am definitely recommending Hijo Estates for that wonderful staycation experience.
