No One Does Summer Like Your Singapore

No One Does Summer Like Your Singapore” – The tagline of the Singapore Tourism Board for their summer and I couldn’t really agree more. Last January, Davao Bloggers together with other media outfits were invited at the Launching event of the Singapore Tourism Board at Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City. When it comes to the subject of traveling I couldn’t really help but feel excited and giddy. And all of that excitement intensified after the talk of Ms. Sherina Chan, the area director for Philippines and Brunei of the Singapore Tourism Board. Singapore immediately made it on my list of the countries that I should visit. It was just so amazing how this 274.1 sq miles of a country were able to maximize their not so abundant resources. I like it that Singapore do its very best to keep, preserve, maintain and improve what resources they have. I just hope we can do that on our own country.
And honestly, I’ve never been out of the country but I am really doing my best to be able to travel abroad this year and to Singapore for that matter. 🙂

  1. Singapore has been on my radar since I started traveling. My parents and one of my sisters have been there already. They say that Singapore is a premier city with lots to offer.

  2. I've been to Singapore twice already. I also told myself that it would take me longer to come back since I have goals of visiting other countries. But looks like I'm coming back sooner than planned, all because of these new attractions.

  3. I consider Singapore as one of the best places in the world. The fact that this place is the crossroad of many heritages, a culture junkie like me will surely love this. I can walk all day in Arab Street, China Town and Little India. Aside from indulging myself in Zaffron Restaurant, one resto that I can't forget is the Singapore Zam Zam. 🙂

  4. Looking forward to be able to travel in Singapore soon. My family had been receiving lots of invites from our friends there. Agree, its a nice place to visit though I heard its expensive in here. So need to save for the trip.

  5. Been there, done that. Singapore is one big mall and theme park. But there is not much to see in terms of history and heritage but, Malaysia is just next door so you can either go to Melaka or Georgetown for that. There are good finds there during sales but I find that we are cheaper here, if we know where to go. Even some of my Singapore based friends shop here 😉

  6. "No One Does Summer Like Your Singapore"
Not as catchy of a tag line, but it makes one feel like they own it.
SG has been on my bucket list for a long time now, I just have to save up

  7. I am planning to visit and stay for some time in Singapore soon!. The economy and job market in there is great as well. No wonder tourist and foreigners flock in there to visit the place.
